I can’t wait until we don’t have bootcamp homework anymore. Not to say that it’s not interesting, because it is, but I hate going thorough the come-home-from-work-eat-homework-sleep cycle five times a week.

Andrew is a decent lecturer, imo. Very thorough, which I like. He drew us lots of pictures, too, which helped a lot even if it was just about microscopy in relation to the paper on inducible activation of GTPases using iRap.

We’re getting closer and closer to finishing Oliver’s cloning project. Now that I’ve done minipreps for these twice, I feel a lot more confident about the procedure and how to do it. We have half the clones done but still need to re-do minipreps for the other half. That we will do tomorrow. The cells are growing overnight atm and will be ready for minipreppin’ tomorrow. Hope 10 of each clone will get us at least some positives.

Oh, the title ref: They have XS gloves in the lab! Hooray. :) I work better with these. Thanks, Ryan Q.
